Nick Strickland has been playing guitar since 2011. Early inspirations include Angus Young (AC/DC), Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), Jimi Hendrix, and James Hetfield (Metallica). His classic rock and metal background led him down the path of heavier music; His style draws elements from classic rock through modern progressive metal. Nick’s interest in Eddie Van Halen also led him to build his own guitars since 2017.
Nick taught beginner through advanced students since 2019 in Statesboro, GA before moving to the Lowcountry. His favorite aspect of teaching is helping students connect with music to create a bond with their instrument.
